A Trip to Epcot! Now that we live in Florida and are very close to Disney I get a lot of questions about which park is our favorite. Disney has 4 parks; Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Disney Studios. There are also 2 Disney water parks; Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. By far, our favorite park is Epcot. (Animal Kingdom is a close second.) For this blog post we will look at our most recent visit to Epcot. The acronym. EPCOT coined by Walt Disney in 1966 means Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. It was opened on October 1 in 1982. Epcot is twice the size of Magic Kingdom and therefore you can expect to get all of your daily steps in and then some! Most people report getting in well over 30,000 steps in one visit!!
