Lemon Rosemary Vanilla Simmer

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love candles, pot-porri, etc. It is unusual to not have a candle burning or my Scentsy warmer going. (In fact I've been banned from Yankee Candle stores, web-sites and Scentsy parties by my husband.) Seems like I'm banned from a lot of places lately huh?

Today I thought I'd share what I have simmering on the back of my stove. I have a huge Rosemary plant in my garden and always have fresh lemons so this one was easy and quick! If you love the smell you encounter in the Williams Sonoma stores you like this. Here is the "recipe" (loose terminology)

4-5 sprigs of fresh Rosemary

1 med. lemon- sliced

1 tsp. (approx.) vanilla extract

water to cover

Put everything in a pot and bring almost to a boil then turn down and simmer gently. Check frequently and add water if necessary You can put this in a crock pot once you've got it to a simmer. This speeds up the process a bit but isn't necessary.

Enjoy!
